Robert Sallee passed away this evening at 6:06 PM after suffering a severe heart attack last Tuesday. We shall miss him and his unusual sense of humor.

God bless you, Robert and may God be with all of his family.

After struggling to win those elusive gold points for 3 days at the Tulsa regional, Jim and Peter, playing against some of the toughest teams in the country, won the Ax flight swiss team event today winning over 12 gold points! This was more than enough to put him over the top and he now has earned the rank of Life Master! Way to go Jim.

In other news from Tulsa, Judy Goodyear and LaDean Gordon won all t5he gold points they need for Life Master status. Now they just need to get some other color points. Good job, ladies.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! I just wanted to let you all know how much you all mean to me. You gave me the most wonderful day yesterday and made me feel so special. Thank you so very much. I was so surprised and grateful. You were all so generous and loving. I could not ever have better friends than I have found here in McAlester Oklahoma.

NAP Games – June, July and August

As you know, I am a huge fan of the NAP games because it’s one of the few times the ACBL gives something tangible back to the players.

From now until the end of August, we will be holding North American Pair qualifying games on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month and the 2nd and 4th Fridays. Entrance fee for these sessions is $6 per player.

Wednesday games begin at the regular time of 10 AM and we plan to have lunch served for an additional $6 per person.

Friday games will begin at 11 AM.

If you’re planning on attending from out of town, please call Linda at 918-426-4835 in advance to let us know you will be attending and whether or not you want to join us for the lunch (on Wednesdays). Even if you don’t call until the morning you will be coming, it will be a big help!
